Strengthening Inclusive Services for Indigenous People (SISIP)

Project Background

The Strengthening Inclusive Services for Indigenous People (SISIP) project is implemented under the ACCESS 2 program, funded by the Australian Government and managed by CARE International.

The project focuses on improving access to social protection services, with particular attention to gender-based violence (GBV), disability inclusion, and the accessibility of services for Indigenous communities.
As an Indigenous-led organization with longstanding community relationships in Ratanakiri, HA supports project implementation across 25 communes and 50 villages in the province.
HA contributes by helping communicate relevant social protection information in appropriate local languages and by supporting Indigenous women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other community members to better understand and access available services and support mechanisms.
Through this work, HA contributes to inclusive community development and supports alignment between community needs, relevant policies, and available public and social services.
